At Kennewick Christian Church, we don’t ask you to check your questions at the door. We believe that following Jesus is a lifelong process of learning and growing together.
Guided by our regional mission to "do together that which we cannot do apart," we center our life as a church on these values:
Jesus-Led & Spirit-Filled: We seek a spiritual life that is God-centered, following the example and teachings of Jesus Christ in everything we do.
The Table for All: As Disciples of Christ, the Lord’s Supper (Communion) is the heart of our worship. We welcome everyone to the Table, just as Christ has welcomed us—regardless of background or denomination.
Unity in Diversity: we value diversity and inclusion, recognizing God's love for all people. We believe our differences make us a stronger, more beautiful reflection of God’s kingdom.
A Community of Communities: We aren't just one local church; we are a family connected to others. We celebrate our close cooperation with our local Spanish-speaking and Myanmar sister churches as we seek to be a "pro-reconciling" community.
Faith in Action: We believe in ministries of justice and compassion. Whether it’s serving our neighbors in the Tri-Cities or supporting global missions, we strive to make God’s love tangible through our actions.
We are a "come as you are" people. We value the traditions of our past and the wisdom of our "seasoned" members, while remaining enthusiastic about the "new things" God is doing in our community today.
